Paddling Film Festival 2024
NBCB is pleased to announce an exciting event happening in Greenpoint:
New York Kayak Polo (NYKP) is bringing the 2024 Paddling Film Festival to Brooklyn, and members and friends of NBCB are invited! The event is happening on the rooftop of Greenpoint Beer & Ale Co. on Thursday, May 2, from 6:30-10pm.
While NYKP’s regular activities involve facilitating kayak polo in the NYC area (games, training & instruction, tournaments, equipment and water access, etc.), their members are a dedicated and diverse group of paddlers who care deeply about promoting paddlesports of all kinds.
The festival’s intent is to build excitement, awareness, and collaboration among the various paddling communities in and around the city, and its millions of potential paddlers.
The night will begin by highlighting some fantastic local boating organizations, paddling opportunities, followed by film screenings which will begin shortly after sunset.
The Paddling Film Festival 2024 is the perfect off-water evening to connect with other boaters and get excited for the upcoming season on the water.
