Boathouse and Community News

Our regular season begins once water temperatures hit 60 degrees at the Battery (scroll down to see water temp). This is usually mid-May thru October.  

With our new boathouse in the midst of construction, we are offering our trip-leader led paddling trips and Public Paddles from two temporary locations:

Canoe trips are launching from Manhattan Avenue Park (next to 1205 Manhattan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222).

Kayak trips are across the creek at Queens Landing Boathouse and Environmental Center (57-28 2nd St, Long Island City, NY 11101).

Please take part in our year round, off-site educational classes and activities. These include paddling classes, environmental art events, social get-togethers, and a book club.
