North Brooklyn Community Boathouse fosters community engagement by introducing local organizations to our waterways through inclusive, on-water canoe and kayak trips. 

We invite non-profits, local institutions, school and community groups to paddle with us in our 29-foot canoes or sit-on-top kayaks. Our American Canoe Association (ACA) certified guides are able to safely and effectively charter groups of paddlers with varying skills and mobility.  

Explore Newtown Creek and parts of the East River. Stop to observe wildlife, including birds, oysters, fish and crustaceans. It’s an opportunity to learn about the history of New York’s waterways, the ecology, and revitalization efforts.
