What to Wear & Bring
Life jackets (personal flotation devices or PFDs) will be provided and must be worn by all paddlers. Kayaks are low to the water so dress for getting wet. It’s a good idea to wear quick-dry clothes since cotton gets heavy when wet and will make you chilly in cooler air temps. Depending on the weather, you might want to bring protective clothes (windbreaker, rain jacket, fleece, etc.) in a dry bag.
Wear old sneakers or sport sandals
Sunglasses or a sun hat
A water bottle
A snack for river trips
Sunscreen
Waterproof camera and binoculars if you have them
Waterproof case for your phone (or leave on land)
